These Terms govern your use of the AstroWatch website and the AstroWatch desktop application ("the App"). AstroWatch is operated by Shahzad Alvi, a sole proprietor based in Pakistan ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, or by purchasing a licence, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App for your own personal or professional astrological work. A Pro licence may be used by you on the reasonable number of devices you personally control.
You agree not to: (a) resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the App or your licence key; (b) share, publish, or circumvent the licence key or activation mechanism; (c) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except to the extent permitted by applicable law; or (d) use the App unlawfully or to infringe others' rights.
The App, its source code, design, and content are our intellectual property (or that of our licensors, including the Swiss Ephemeris) and are protected by law. These Terms grant a licence, not a sale of the software itself. Charts and data you create with the App belong to you.
Pro is sold as an in-app purchase through the Microsoft Store, with Microsoft acting as the Merchant of Record. Microsoft processes your payment, is the seller on record, and collects and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT. Your purchase is also subject to the Microsoft Services Agreement and the Microsoft Store's terms. Prices are shown in your local currency, with any tax shown at purchase.
Purchases are covered by our 14-day Refund Policy. After a refund, the corresponding Pro licence is deactivated.
We may provide updates, and may add, change, or discontinue features over time. A lifetime Pro licence includes updates to the App for the life of the product; we do not guarantee any specific future feature.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for your licence in the 12 months before the claim.
This licence terminates automatically if you breach these Terms. On termination you must stop using and delete the Pro features / App as applicable.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the current version; continued use after changes means you accept them.
