Customize Dashboard & Cards

Make the dashboard yours. Choose which card fills each area — separately for the Western and the Vedic display — from the original cards and nine new ones.

5 min read Updated 14 October 2026 Free, Extended & Pro

The dashboard is built from seven areas. The chart and the Timeline always stay — they're how you work the chart — but the other areas can each show the card you find most useful. Open Settings → Customize Dashboard.

The Customize Dashboard dialog showing the Western Display: a to-scale drawing of the dashboard with seven areas, drop-downs on the left, right and centre-strip areas, fixed labels on the chart and timeline, and Reset to default, Cancel and Save buttons.

Customize Dashboard — a to-scale drawing of the dashboard's seven areas.

Using the dialog

  1. Pick the display

The switch at the top right chooses Western Display or Vedic Suite Display. It opens on the one you're using now.

  2. Choose a card for each area

Each changeable area has a drop-down. The first entry is always the original card; the others are the new cards designed for that area's size, each with a one-line description. The preview redraws as you choose.

  3. Save

Click Save and the dashboard rearranges immediately — no restart. Cancel discards your changes, and Reset to default returns the display you're looking at to its original cards (click Save to keep that).

A new card takes the place of the original in the same spot, on both the Natal and Transit tabs. Choose the original again at any time to bring it back.

The Western cards

Houses & Rulers

A house-by-house table: H, CUSP, RULER, RULER IN (the house the ruler sits in) and OCCUPANTS, with the four angles (ASC, IC, DSC, MC) along the top and angular houses highlighted.

  • The Trad | Mod toggle switches between traditional and modern rulers for Scorpio, Aquarius and Pisces; the other ruler is shown faintly beside it. Your choice is remembered.
  • The house-system pill in the header opens Settings → Calculation.
  • On the Transit tab the card shows the transit chart's houses.
The Houses & Rulers card: angles strip, then twelve rows with cusp, ruler, ruler-in and occupants, and the Trad | Mod toggle in the header.

Aspect Patterns

Finds the seven classic configurations — Grand Trine, T-Square, Grand Cross, Yod, Kite, Stellium and Mystic Rectangle — and draws each on a small wheel with its points, a tag (element, modality or the Yod's apex), a short note and its tightest orb.

  • Count chips across the top (G.Trine, T-Sq, G.Cross, Yod, Kite, Stellium, M.Rect) filter the list: click one to show only that pattern, click again to show all.
  • On the Transit tab with a profile open, it lists patterns that combine transiting and natal planets — a transit completing a natal T-square into a Grand Cross, for example.

Transits Today

The day's transits, grouped the way you'd plan around them:

  • SKY EVENTS — sign ingresses and stations in the next five days. Click a tile and the chart jumps to that moment on the Transit tab.
  • EXACT THIS WEEK, BUILDING (applying) and FADING (separating) — each transit with its orb, APP / SEP badge, exact date and a relative time like in 3 d. Orb up to 5°.

On the Natal tab it compares the sky now with your birth chart; on the Transit tab it compares the transiting planets with each other at the slider moment. A blinking LIVE dot shows when the card is on the present moment. The Aspect Calendar → link opens the full timing engine (Aspect Calendar, Pro).

Moon Void-of-Course

A blinking amber VOID NOW or a teal NOT VOID status, the Moon's degree, phase and speed, a countdown (VOID ENDS IN or TO GEMINI INGRESS), and a bar across the Moon's current sign with the void stretch hatched. Three cells give the last aspect, when the void began or the next void, and the next ingress. The link opens Movements of the Moon.

The Vedic cards

Each Vedic card has its own guide with the details:

  • Bhāva Table — lords, occupants, SAV bindus and Bhāva Bala for the twelve houses (Shadbala & Bhava Bala).
  • Aṣṭakavarga (SAV) — bindus per house, with each planet's BAV and transits on the Transit tab (Gochar & Aṣṭakavarga).
  • Tithi & Nakṣatra Progress — how far the Moon is through its tithi and nakshatra (Panchang).
  • Today's Pañcāṅga — the five limbs, day timings, horā and choghadiya, live (Panchang).
  • Yogas at a Glance — the strongest yogas, adverse yogas and the Ātmakāraka (Yogas & Karakas).

Editions

Customize Dashboard and the four Western cards are available in every edition, including Free. The Vedic display needs Vedic mode, which is part of Extended and Pro. Links inside the cards open their tools as usual — the Aspect Calendar, for instance, is a Pro tool.
