Written Reports turn a chart into readable prose on the spot — not a fixed block of canned text, but a report composed live every time you open it, drawing on AstroWatch's own interpretation engine to match, score and order what your chart actually presents. It can read the natal chart alone, or a moving ring against it — transits right now, a solar return, a secondary progression — depending on what's loaded on the wheel.
Opening it
View → Written Reports — a Pro feature, and it only opens a dialog if a profile with a natal chart is currently loaded; otherwise a small prompt tells you to open one first.

- 2Chart Signature — the computed opening section, always present with its own strength score even before any interpretation text is matched.
Natal or predictive
A Report type selector only appears when the Expanded Chart View's wheel has a second ring enabled alongside your natal chart — pick Configure Wheels first (see Multi-Wheel & Bi-Wheel) if you want the predictive option available. Once a moving ring is active, the selector's second option relabels itself to match it, and the report switches from reading your birth chart alone to reading that ring's live contacts against it. Only some ring types have a predictive voice authored yet:
Current Transit
Reads as Transits now — today's sky against your natal chart, with exact-hit dates on every contact that has one.
Planet Return, targeted at the Sun or Moon
Reads as a Solar Return or Lunar Return — framed as a snapshot for the year or month ahead rather than a run of dated events. Planet Returns for any other body don't have a predictive voice yet and fall back to the natal report.
Progression, targeted at Secondary
Reads as Progressions — a day of ephemeris motion standing in for a year of life, the same secondary-progression time map used elsewhere in AstroWatch.
Directions, targeted at Solar Arc
Reads as Solar arc directions.
Everything else
Saved Event, Synastry, Composite, Davison and Harmonic rings don't have a predictive voice authored yet — the dialog quietly serves the natal report instead, even if one of those rings is active on the wheel.
How AstroWatch composes it
The dialog's toolbar has three controls. Source picks which interpretation corpus to draw from, or All sources to blend every enabled one. By strength / By life area sets the section order — strength-ranked puts your chart's loudest placements first regardless of topic; by life area groups everything under its theme (career, relationships, and so on) and ranks within each group. Every report opens with a Chart Signature section — a computed summary independent of any corpus, so it's always present even before any interpretation text is matched.
Each section below that carries a strength score from 0–100, shown as a number and a thin progress bar — how prominent that placement or pattern is in this specific chart, not a fixed importance ranking. Where an authored friendly title exists for a placement, the report shows that evocative heading with the exact astrological term underneath for reference, rather than only the raw astrological label; conditional clauses that apply to your specific configuration (retrograde, applying vs separating, a particularly tight or wide orb) are appended under the main text as short add-on notes.
Coverage gaps
An expander at the bottom of the dialog — Coverage gaps — lists any pattern your chart actually presents that no enabled interpretation section currently delineates. It's a transparency note, not an error: AstroWatch's corpus is deep but not infinite, and this is where you can see exactly what it hasn't voiced yet for your specific chart, rather than the report silently pretending every placement was covered.
One unmatched pattern key here — SIGN_ON_CUSP — the raw internal key for a placement the corpus hasn't voiced yet for this chart.
